Of course, the Los Angeles Poker Classic (LAPC) is already in full swing, so attendees can take their newly-acquired poker knowledge to the cash game tables or into any of a number of tournaments on the LAPC schedule. Commerce Casino in the Los Angeles area is the place to be that afternoon for appetizers and cocktails, a poker seminar and freeroll, and the chance to win valuable prizes. The first and most immediate chance to welcome more women to the game is happening on Friday, February 15, 2019.
Three such events will be happening in the coming months, with one of them set to take place later this week. To make the most of the World Poker Tour’s ongoing efforts to give more women the opportunity to learn and play poker, it only makes sense to highlight occasions that are conducive to that purpose.
